Our Offer
What We Offer
LitFin helps companies assess and pursue potential compensation claims arising from the alleged salmon cartel without taking on financial risk. We finance and coordinate the legal, economic and procedural work required to bring a claim, allowing your company to evaluate its position and seek recovery without upfront costs.
Your company does not need to allocate a litigation budget or advance legal fees. LitFin covers the costs of the claim process, including legal work, economic analysis, expert support, procedural costs and case management. If the claim is not successful, your company does not reimburse these costs. LitFin only receives a pre-agreed success fee if compensation is recovered.
Our Approach
- Preliminary damage assessment
Before any formal commitment, LitFin can support an initial assessment of whether your company may have suffered financial harm. This review is based on available purchasing information, such as products purchased, purchase volumes, prices paid, suppliers and relevant purchase periods. This allows your company to receive an initial, data-based view of its potential claim. The preliminary assessment is free, confidential and non-binding. - End-to-end legal and economic coordination
LitFin coordinates the claim process together with specialized competition lawyers and economic experts. This may include legal strategy, jurisdiction assessment, damage quantification, documentation, settlement discussions and, where necessary, litigation. Our role is to reduce the operational burden on your company while ensuring that the claim is assessed and pursued professionally. - Tailored claim structure
Each company’s situation is assessed individually. The most suitable legal route depends on factors such as purchasing data, supplier relationships, jurisdictional considerations and overall claim strategy. LitFin evaluates these factors and discusses the available options with your company before any formal step is taken. - Simple and structured onboarding
The first steps are straightforward: an introductory discussion, an NDA where appropriate, a limited data request and a preliminary damage assessment.
Your company remains free to decide whether to proceed before signing any formal agreement.
